BUSINESS CHALLENGES
Lokmat Group, having dual Datacenter and multiple remote offices, was facing challenges in providing better WAN connectivity between these locations and effective utilization of multiple MPLS links and ILLs.
Also, their LAN network was built using old 100M/1G switches and it was very difficult for network admins to fulfill the increasing the demand of users for higher bandwidth requirements.
SOLUTION AND RESULT
We have implemented latest FortiGate Next-Gen Firewall appliances in entire Lokmat Group locations and configured SD-WAN. Now customer enjoys better uptime in WAN and also the protection from cyber threats. Lokmat also gets the advantage of device manageability, logs & reporting and user authentication using FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer and FortiAuthenticator.Also, D-Link enterprise-class managed switching and wireless solution is implemented at head office that uses 1G/10G connections for better performance. HA is configured for Core Switches and dual connectivity to HA stack from all other switches. NMS is deployed in head office so that network administrators can have full understanding and control over the newly implemented network infrastructure.
